Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

No idea, I'd imagine they're annoyed because they already bought the paper.

None - rumour had it that the Sunday World would but only had Aldi voucher, same with the Sunday Indo. The Mail on Sunday has the Lidl voucher today - 20 off a 100 spend.

Yes they do. Used a Lidl voucher in Tesco a few days ago.

    Just a heads up.
The Sunday Indo token is one page 2 but it's not on the side where the bar code is.
So if you missed it, you could ask a newsagent if you could have the token out of the paper as it doesn't make any difference to them when they return the paper.

Wow someone got out of bed the wrong side,

Tesco have posters all over saying they accept competitor coupons,

Maybe next time, before you blow a gasket check your facts,

    Yes they do, :D

Unfortunately, this came up before, sales agents have to send the whole newspaper back in full, coupons etc,

Not like the old days, popping in to the indo offices to pick up coupons, or scouring newsagents bins,

    The good old days...

Are you sure lidl confirmed it? I never saw it on their facebook page. Some one said some facebook page mentioned it, but I saw no offcial lidl posts, it was a closed group called beady eye bargains (or similar)

Positive. They have since apologised for the error.

you'd swear I was discussing a football match or something. The thread is about a voucher which can be used in aldi or tesco, so there is bound to be interest in other vouchers used in tesco. By the looks of things most are being used in tesco rather than aldi.

"lidl" is mentioned 181 times in this thread, "tesco" 250 times.

I have a slight suspicion some might be interested. I would rather the threads be merged tbh, there is lots of cross posting for obvious reasons -well obvious to most people.

Separate threads for a reason, it's all merged under bargain alerts anyway
Most of the times lidl gars mention is people pointing to the lidl thread
    Which is that way

Nope. Aldi and Lidl vouchers are generally available at the same time and a sizable proportion of both are used in Tesco so it makes absolute sense that folk would discuss both in the same breath.

And even for those interested in one or the other, it's important to clarify which papers have Aldi and which have Lidl.

So two separate threads leads to much duplication.

Anyway, it'd say that's it with the Lidl and Aldi vouchers for the foreseeable future.

Yes you can, just give it when collecting, you will get a refund a couple of days later.

Use the Lidl thread for Lidl vouchers discussion. If someone wants information on the next Lidl voucher they will check that rather than an ALDI thread.

There were vouchers in August last year

Fingers crossed they'll be back again in a few weeks

Aldi had vouchers in the papers every week last summer from the beginning of June through to September.

This summer is not last summer. :(

When folk see new posts in threads like this, they think it's someone posting news of a new voucher and are rather pissed to find it's just someone asking if there will be one soon.

(Yeah, there's a voucher next week but I'm not telling anyone unless someone specifically asks me if there will be a voucher next week.)

This forum is for posting bargain alerts, not asking for them. There is a sub-forum here for bargain requests for a good reason.

Its not looking good. From lidl facebook
I asked the other day about the 10euro off 50euro spend vouchers that you do at Christmas. Didn't get a reply. Are you doing them this year as Tesco have sent out their vouchers but I would prefare to go to Lidl if poss. Any info on this would be welcome.
