thank you. Got the hubby to get two Suns today thinking they were Lidl vouchers. Used one in Tesco today, was planning to use the second in Lidl but can switch to Aldi for this week - its starting to get confusing :D

The best part of using the voucher is watching the guys cut it out. Why are they so anal about it?

To the lowlife who ripped out the Aldi vouchers out of the last remaining newspapers and then left them back in the stand: you are a disgrace. I don't know how you can sleep at night.

Why go to the bother of printing?

I went to my local hotel Saturday & got 2 papers FOC from the restaurant. The hotels give all patrons one at the breakfast table, I recycled them after!!

Normally near the front within the first 10 pages, usually an add for it on the front page and tells you what page it's in

Make sure it's today's date also, got caught out once by that myself

    Its in the SUNDAY Independent

My local Londis is accepting Aldi and Lidl vouchers now (no alcohol or petrol, and I assume baby formula).

This pissed me off a little for some reason, like it was announcing that they already charge far too much for the convenience that they offer, and breaking the illusion or something. :pac:

So is it the Sunday world and the Sunday independent only this week?

Seems to have changed back to Thurs-Fri with the Independent and Irish Sun/Examiner on Saturday.

Yes, it must have been changed. I read it last week that the vouchers were in the Sunday papers for the next while. This could confuse a lot of people. The weekday papers are cheaper!!

No they've reverted back to the Sun on Saturday too (not that I've ever read a line from any voucher bearing paper in the last 18 months)

The Sun, it's only €1. You get a TV guide in Saturday's paper which is the only thing worth keeping! I only buy papers on a Sunday but I've been buying The Sun on Saturdays when they have the voucher in it.

Thanks peig - will get the sun read the tv guide and use the rest of the paper to line the cat's litter tray.
