Some load of rubbish tonight. Funny listening to Sky(especially Mardle) trying to hype it up though.

Not every broadcast has to be 'the bestest night ever' lads

Woeful stuff there last night but it should be better this evening with more of the better teams playing.

I got a good laugh at that Indian guy when he went for treble 13 as he was sat on 86 though :-)

The attempted 110 -t20 bull checkout from Mackenzie was farcical though...

First time watching this tournament. Definitely my least favourite tournament ever. Hoping it gets better when the lesser teams are gone. Is it singles today?

Leave mardle alone lads,he is a very funny guy in fairness.
And darts needs that funny sentence or 3,Sid made it what it is and the normal commentator is boring.

    Mardle mardle :)

Jaysus that went down to the wire. Very exciting stuff even if the darts weren't always the best!

That last leg was shocking stuff, let out of jail 8 or 8 times and then come up with nothing in the deciding leg

Just for anyone having a bet, paddypower have MVG to win 4-0 @11/10 in the next game but have under 4.5 legs @6/4

Did anyone notice Peter Wrights darts were moving slightly or wobbling after hitting the board

Yeah Wright seems to change darts a lot, he plays well with them and then decides to change again. In thier first interview after winning their first match, Wright joked about only using them to piss of Anderson, because Anderson can't stand the darts moving on the board.

The only other person I've seen use them is, Deta Hedman in the bdo.

Nicholson v Huybrechts is some cringe-fest. Both acting like children :o

  • Banned (with Prison Access) Posts: 2,169 ✭✭✭ComfortKid

Jesus there is some really poor games on this. Nicholson the latest to choke at the finish line. Delited for him as he seems a right clown!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,147 ✭✭✭Ronan|Raven

That was a mighty end to the match

It’s the points he is using, they are flexible. Deta Headman also uses them

Some serious finishing by Gary Anderson there to beat Taylor.

Sets up a winner take all final match.

  • Banned (with Prison Access) Posts: 2,169 ✭✭✭ComfortKid

Fair play to Peter Wright, probably the most consistent over the whole tournament.

Sticking to what I said that this tournament is sht but Wow,what a final! Ando v Taylor was brilliant.

    Good days darts today.

Would have liked to have seen Scotland win.
Say MVG is cursing Barney blind for being a heartless git again.

Think Scotland deserved it to be honest. They got tougher games. Snakebite of all people lost if for them after doing so well against Netherlands

players take it seriously which is good, definatley not a exhibition tournament

Barney and MvG representing Holland again this year. It should be Klaasen with MvG but after his behaviour a few years back and MvG's refusal to forgive him he hasn't been picked or perhaps doesn't want to be.

He issued a statement saying he can't play due to 'personal commitments'.

Disgraceful from the PDC in my opinion. Is mvg now calling the shots? Its mvg who has the problem with jelle, therefore he shouldn't be in it of he doesn't like him

I see Peter Wright has "withdrawn due to personal reasons" too.. Anderson obviously not happy about Wrights missus recent tweets..This tournament has now been made a mockery of

I had to laugh at Lewis's puntastic reply....'I really do hope the DRA (Darts Regulation Authority) take this seriously. Nobody in darts I know of would ever throw a game'

Silly comments from her...hard to know if Wright pulled out because of it but smoke and fire and all that.

Anderson admitted to throwing a game against in Lewis, in Glasgow around 4 years ago so I really don't think they could complain about the allegations.
Thought I wouldn't be seeing anymore of Thornton for a few months..
