    Hi All,

We're looking for a reliable and experienced session musician who's interested in doing some recording this summer. Ideally, we're trying to find someone who is a multi-instrumentalist (piano, guitar, bass, cello, mandolin, etc) with recording studio experience. Age is not important! This is a paid gig and it will most likely be in a Balbriggan studio, so you'll need to be able to travel to and from. There will also be some rehearsal time beforehand at our humble home in Malahide where the tea'n'coffee and biscuits will be plentiful! :)

The music style is quiet and simple singer-songwriter stuff (think Carole King / Joni Mitchell / Cat Stevens / Mama Cass / Jefferson Airplane / David Bowie / Leonard Cohen). We love plucky guitar (Street Spirit / Heartbeats), so we'll be looking for someone who is good at that.

For each song, the layout and tune is already done, along with rough demos which we will send you in advance. On the day, there'll most likely be some improv required and playing to a click track. Probably about 3+ songs over 2-3 days in this session. If it goes well, maybe more sessions in the future. If you think this gig would suit you, then we'd love to have a listen to your demo, so feel free to send it on to us and we can chat about a day rate.

    About us:
We are a songwriter / vocalist duo, mid-30s, playing mostly guitar and some piano. We're very easy-going and nice to work with. We've done some professional recording a few years ago, and we have lots of home studio stuff.

Feel free to get in touch if you're interested!
