    Hi,

I'm a bit of a novice on surround sound systems so bear with me :)

I have an Optoma HD141X projector which I'm looking to purchase a surround sound system for, I'd have the surround sound connected to my tv when not using the projector and would potentially like to connect it to my existing Sonos system through a Sonos Connect.

I don't need a blu-ray player so would prefer a system that didn't include it.

Would you have any recommendations on suitable systems?

    Thanks

    Hi Henrys Grimey Paws,

If you want to use this both with projector and TV, ideally you'll be looking for a receiver with 2 HDMI outputs. The Denon AVRX2100 is a cracking amp at £249 / €368 with 2 HDMi out, 7.2 channel amp, with 4k upscaling

    It has a Zone 2 pre-out which

To match with this, would you like satellite speakers or conventional speakers?
For a satellite pack that would go well with the Denon, you could look at the Wharfedale DX1 pack at £249 / €369 - http://euro.richersounds.ie/p-11539-dx1-hcp.aspx

    or the Tannoy HTS101 at £329 / €409

Have a look at these and if you're interested, or if anything else on our site catches your eye, drop us a PM with your name and number and we can get them organised for you

    Cheers
