    Whats the best way of deleting a HDD, im removing the HDD and using it in another build

    Will it be another build of yours? Or for someone else.

    If yours, a simple format will do, if for someone else its harder to make your data unrecoverable

    Boot and nuke, wouldn't recommend on an ssd though.

    Do a fresh windows install then, should be grand

    don't like the look of boot and nuke could see myself clearing the wrong drive
    , think just a format will do in disk management ? can you do it in the bios?

    Don't think so. Insert a Windows install disk and install it new onto the drive. Remove all other drives from PC and you can't pick the wrong one

    i get it now, when windows boots it ask me if i want to delete old partitions if there are any
