    Hey guys.

    Done a bit of a search on the forums and everything seems to be IEC related. We are leaving for Canada soon (PNP nomination) and are looking for the mandatory 3 months health insurance required by the Canadian government.

    Just go off the phone to VHI and they will not cover us as we do not have an intended date to leave!

    My wife is pregnant so giving a false intended date to leave might not be the best idea (as we are not intending to come back - PR nomination is a part of the PNP process).

    Any idea who would cover us short term 3 - 6 months?

    After a lot of ringing around it looks like Aviva will take us for €177 each on a 6 month contract.

    Was expecting it a bit cheaper for myself but it's not that expensive overall.
