Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I'm the same, never seen a single sig.

How do you switch them on?

The signature facility goes way back to the early 1980s and Usenet. It's intended as a plain-text sign-off to save you from going:

Well, obviously, so that I can put something unbelievably offensive in there.

I quite often go with Gerry Sadowitz's joke about Jill Dando.

If I'd known Jill Dando was going to be killed that Friday, I'd have raped her on the Thursday...

    instead of on the Sunday.

    I see.

Yeah, you should leave it turned off.

The best is when overly self important knobheads sign off with. Eg. Sheep Lover. Or SL

Bellends, your name is on the top of the post. You're not that important that we need it twice.

    Thanks for the feedback.

This is not my first account on boards. The other one I did not see all these silly signatures. It obviously has only been visible by default more recently.

I am very disappointed in the whole thing
