Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I don't take any electronic devices to bed with me, that'd be a very strange thing to be doing anyway? Just leave the phones on the bedside locker where they can charge overnight to be ready to use in the morning is all.

    Laptop, phone, Kindle, internet radio.

Phone, laptop, electric juicer, blankety-blank cheque book and pen, cuddly toy, tumble drier, stay out of the red keep in the black, a fully fitted kitchen, a holiday to the Maldives...

Sorry, I started thinking of TV game shows there for some reason.

    7.

iPhone, iPad, tv remote (controls tv), tv remote (controls media player), xbox controller for xbox, radio, power socket remote (controls ights, hard drive, sound system connected to tv).

MacBook is also within easy reach if required but would involve getting up out of bed.

So that's two if you're keeping count.

My phone is generally within arm's reach. Sometimes my iPad and laptop are close by but not every night.

Tv is a must in the bedroom and a pretty standard thing too. How can you watch TV in bed without one.

Phone is next to the bed and beside it is a radio/alarm!

    That's it really!

I'd have thought it was neither. It's not weird though.

Mine's just there for the alarm. The rest are there because it's just easier to charge them all together.

It's actually my favourite place to watch TV. Nothing better than hopping into bed, lights out and watching an episode or two of some tv show/shows. Pure comfort.

Only watch sport and random stuff in the living room all series are watched in bed. Even have my new 40 inch hd TV in the bed room and small one in the living room (until I get a big one for there too :pac:)

Suppose it's so normal to me as my parents always had tv in their room and we had too at times growing up.

Mostly two but sometimes three items. Always have the mobile and the tv remote on the locker and sometimes might bring the laptop up to the bed too but not very often. When I was younger would have a radio too and it would be on lots but am more of a tv person now and don,t listen to radio very often unless in a car or on a bus.

    Live long and Prosper

    Peace and long life.

SmartPhone, sometimes my PC if I want to watch a movie in bed

Just the phone charging beside the bed so the alarm gets set.

I don't think sharing a bedroom and having a TV is a good mix, and I'd never sleep with someone watching telly beside me with the noise and flickering lights.

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,312 ✭✭✭Paramite Pie

I don't take any objects to bed with me. My phone might be beside me on my locker but not literally in my hand while sleeping.

I dated someone who slept with his phone either in his hand or under the pillow. Drove me nuts.

Generally I'm up really late on my laptop anyways so by the time I'm going to bed I've had my fill of electronic goodness.
