I think they're asking you upfront for money but won't take it until the day the three month trial ends, and only if you don't cancel the service.

How do you cancel it? It says on your account but I can't seem to find it. Or do you need to cancel it through a laptop? More than likely keep it but just in case!

I very impressed with the curated playlists popping up in the For You tab. Really good stuff.

Sound quality is very poor compared to my locally stored files of the same song. Strange thing is the local file is 256 kbps (VBR) AAC, I thought the streaming was meant to be 256k too? I was streaming over wifi too so connection not the problem.

settings > itunes and app store > view apple id > manage subscriptions

If you ask Siri to play Beats One, she says it's not available here yet. Strange.

Very impressed with the playlists on it, haven't come across a bad one yet.

I assume streaming quality varies depending on the connection. There doesn't appear to be a quality setting like in Spotify. You'd probably have to save the track for offline listening to get the full 256kps.

Nothing will add to my music Some things transfer into the folder (most don't) but then there's nothing there and they don't play, the icon doesn't appear properly. Grr

I dont seem to have manage subscriptions there. There is only a manage newsletters and I can't find anything there

Restarted the Apple TV and iPad and hey presto all working fine. Full cover art and sounds great through the speakers I have connected to the TV. I can even change tracks with the Apple TV remote. Happy days

I can't see an option anywhere in my itunes library on my laptop to enable icloud for my library- the only stuff that's showing up in my music app on my phone is the stuff stored locally on my phone. I've tried following the instructions about itunes>preferences>turn on icloud, but there's nothing in preferences.

Am I just missing something really obvious???

You have to wait for iTunes 12.2.

I did that but after a while only one comes up at a time and they're ones I'd never be interested in. Taylor Swift came up once for God's sake and I have none of her stuff in my library and deselected pop and hit songs in the initial stage.

trying it now for an hour I'm pretty happy with it, always wished apple would do something like this. If they brought this service to the PS4 id be totally complete in all my needs for gaming

I'd say they're just trying to balance server loads.

There have been issues before when everyone's tried downloading everything simultaneously and it all starts to crawl.

Better to stagger things I guess.

Shame it's so early for us. Since the first episode was turned into a playlist, I would hope that each 'episode' playlist has a recording of the interview as well.

I know I dont have to worry about it for 3 months , but if I take up itunes match (which puts my music in the cloud) , I can keep the radio stations and pay €25 per year as opposed to €120 ?

I'm not that bothered about apple recommending music to me. And if I can keep the curated radio stations then I get new music pushed to me.

Or am I missing something obvious ?

I can't seem to play my own music on the new App. The albums are there and icloud is activated but when i click on a track nothing happens. New tracks that I've streamed from the service are playing ok. Anyone any ideas?

Are you sure about us getting iTunes Radio with iTunes Match? That's how it is in the US and Aus, where the radio stations are free with ads and iTunes Match users get them ad-free and skippable. But that hadn't rolled out internationally yet and radio is currently listed as a feature of Apple Music.

Try restarting. If they are matched/uploaded tracks from another computer/device it could be server issues.

If it turns out the same as the US here (and theres no reason it wont) then I personally would struggle to justify €100 + per year. 17 year old me , who has time on his hands to listen to music would love this.

Spotify is sufficient for me, especially when I can stream my music on the PS4. I don't think this will be something that Apple will allow to happen.

I wouldn't assume it's the same as the US. It wasn't before. I'm an iTunes Match subscriber and had no access to iTunes Radio prior to signing up to Apple Music. Maybe the upgrade to iOS 8.4/iTunes 12.2 changed that, but I didn't think to check before signing up.

Maybe somebody with iTunes Match who hasn't signed up to Apple Music yet can confirm if they have access to iTunes Radio?

You can with everything else on the iTunes/App Store, including subscriptions, so I see no reason why not. But you will still have to have a credit card associated with the account.

I pay for a magazine subscription in newsstand that way so I can't see why you wouldn't be able to pay for this that way.

I use the iTunes vouchers and it wouldn't let me set up the free trial until I had the 9.99 balance on my account. After that it let me do it. I intend to do it this way as I tend to pick up the iTunes cards when they are on offer. Makes it even cheaper!

Anyone able to stream Beats 1 over Airplay? I can stream songs fine but when I switch over to the radio station ir cuts out and goes back to the laptop speakers. Annoying.
