Is there anywhere selling boxes with genuine paid for subscriptions or are all sellers just loading the free add ons onto the box with a fancy skin ?

This is out of stock at the minute but was coming in around €60/70 before Christmas.

    Should have more stock shortly.

What sort of broadband do you have?

Depending on the Seller on Amazon they can be either.

As Will said above seo-micheal is very good on how to get up and running.

I've used one of the "builds" as well and to be honest I only use a couple of add ons.
It can take a bit of work to personalize how you want it to look but that's half the fun of Kodi :D.
Plus if an add-on goes down(genesis) you're in a better position to set up something else.

    I run two main Addons.

A popular table condiment and a legendary bird. Does the job for me.

Very similar to mine, too many add-ons means more time updating etc
I've added one more for sports & I'm happy with what I have

Lads I'm finding Kodi unnecessarily complicated. I'm running Paradox on it but don't see the point in having so many different addons. Is there one Movie and one TV addon that will contain most things I'm looking for?

i've got about 5 including the 2 you mentioned, but those 2 would be the main ones

And the thread is heading towards third party addons and builds again:rolleyes:

This will be closed like all the others before it.Small bit of advice don't use builds, learn to use Kodi from fresh. You'll enjoy it and learn something. For third party stuff go elsewhere to discuss it(plenty of google -able forums out there/Utube vids).

Yes MXQ would be one of the most popular boxes available.

    Loads of Boardsies have them.

The one you linked above would be around €67.50 after Vat abd another €14 for shipping. Thats a rip off.

You could pick an MXQ up from Amazon and have it in a few days for around €35-€50.

Try find one with 2gb Ram and 8gb of onboard storage.

The stated specs are wrong - MXQ S805 are invariably 1GB Ram (not 2GB = the MXIII) and 8GB storage (not 16), the maker's website confirms this (even if it bizarrely states 2GB in the title).

€70 with shipping is a bit steep (£22-27 Amazon)

Is the mx111 a better box have a mk808b that I want to replace?

If it's the older dual core mk808b (ie. not the 'mk808b plus' quad core), then definitely the MXIII is faster and more responsive particularly with 2GB ram - the Amlogic S802 is 4K capable too (though not native H265/HEVC - encoded files plays fine for me using VLC). Wireless range is improved and like the mk808 it has bluetooth (many MXQ boxes don't).
