Asking on behalf of a friend who is going to be trying for a baby with his wife in next 6 months.

His wife is on medication for severe migraines 25mg Ampitriplian and 50mg Tramadol once a day at night time, she also is prescribed 5mg of Axicalm twice daily.

Coming off the medication is not really an option as the migraines can get to bad for her, if they go ahead with getting pregnant can these medications cause complications is the main question they want answer Anon. Thanks in advance

She needs to talk to her GP - some medicines strongly discourage getting pregnant or TTC, and only a doctor or pharmacist can advise on that.
