PC world Gopro accessories are incredibly expensive compared to rivals who are selling the same product. I couldn't believe my eyes when a few bits of moulded plastic of a bike mount cost 64.99.

    Examples:

Gopro Dog harness -> 139.99 in PC world. It is 62.99 in Argos.
Gopro Bicycle mount -> 64.99 in PC world. 21.99. in Argos.
GoPro Junior Chest mount -> 99.99 in PC World. In Argos it is 19.99.
Gopro Jaws Flex Clamp -> 129.99 in PC World. 33.99 in Argos.

    Incredible mark ups.

All can be bought on ebay for very little, not go pro originals but good quality nonetheless.

Pc world were always expensive for that kinda stuff, don't bother with them much anymore myself unless I'm stuck.

HAvn't bought anything in there in years.

Get the impression they target the consumer who just isn't comfortable/aware of online stores, and assume their store name means they will be specialists.

LAst time I was in there was about 3 year ago where I needed to get a ethernet cable, needed a 15m one. Price was €65 euro and I absolutely scoffed. Lived with wireless for the three days it took Amazon to ship one for €11.

Comparing a physical store prices to online prices is one thing. But we are talking about two stores who usually exist less than a 100 meters away from one another in Jervis and retail estates.

    Yes.

The cameras themselves are generally not apart from the basic Hero model.
