Was thinking of getting this antenna but it doesn't support 5Ghz band...

    It only supports 2.4ghz. What exactly are you trying to do? What frequency?

    2.4 but I understand 5Ghz is also used now for higher throughput...I haven't looked into that aspect too much. I'm busy researching outdoor antennas and access points.
