Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Henderson to right back while one of the best rbs in premier league last season in clyne sits on the bench, baffling decision.

England will go no were as long as hodge son is the manager

They'll go nowhere no matter who is the manager.

Hopefully this will be the last game I get to hear Townsend on co commentary.

If BT hire him for for there European games I will die a little inside.

Anyone else miss those chances and they'd be getting slaughtered. But seeing as it's Rooney, not a peep from Tyldesley or Townsend.

Well he does sort of have 47 international goals to his name.

Gibbs caught ball watching there and, by the time he reacted, he was in no position to challenge. Poor defending by England again.

Has turned out to be a really entertaining game.

Good finish by Rooney there. Now for the defence to stay awake, for a change.

FFS ITV. Declaring the game won with five minutes to go.

Cracking second half of football. The second England goal was sexy.

Good atmosphere all game. Both sets of fans have been excellent.

Three more points will do nicely.

Their football coverage is desperately poor. Not that bothered about them being biased in favour of England; they are an English/UK broadcaster after all. It's just the poor quality of punditry that gets on my nerves. And let's not forget Adrian Chiles.

    Unstoppable- it was hardly that!

The top teams won't be quaking in their boots...

They probably meant in this group, which, so far, they have been.
