Woj and co are probably on pick #5 by now :pac:

Probably halfway through the second round.

Russell to the Lakers. Interesting. Okafor in play for 3 and 4 now.

    Russell to the Lakers.

The 76ers are a bit of a wildcard here, the Knicks will be praying they don't go for Okafor and with Noel and Embiid there normally they probably wouldn't, but Embiid's injury problems may cause them to reconsider.

If Okafor goes to Philly then the Knicks are gonna be in a tough spot!

Porzingus looks great but there is huge Milicic potential with him, I hope we take Mudiay.

    Philly take Okafor.

Come on Knicks, do something stupid.

Trying to stay off Twitter, but has Embiid tweeted anything about that pick yet? He's usually pretty active on there.

If Embiid can get fit the 76ers have quite the front court - Noel, Embiid and Okafor.

The Knicks will be absolutely gutted.

Huge spacing issues there, Embiid had some complication with his injury last week though. Strong talks coming into this that Noel was on the block coming into tonight anyway

Hinkie has said they're keeping Okafor.

You were saying? He'd better able to live up to the hype.

The most risky guy the Knicks could have picked, typically we take him. He could be amazing, but is a walking lay up line on defense. Still though, can't complain, Mudiay and Winslow both would have been risks also. After the top 3 it was always going to be a minefield anyway. Has huge up side, he is 7 2, a knock down shooter and has crazy athleticism for a guy his height.

"This is your team, these are the people you will play for, how does that make you feel?"

Ehhhhh, they just booed the pick for about 60 seconds, how do you think? :pac:

Magic to take Winslow? I like the starting 5 they're building.

I'd imagine so, he suits their needs a lot more than say Mudiay

I am the Knicks biggest critic, but Porzingus has big potential. He was a consensus top 5 pick anyway, it's not like they have picked him from nowhere. Winslow is a good NBA player now, but hasn't near as much upside, I'm ok with this pick.

****in Knicks fans, booing everything. you haven't known what winning is since Ewing.

and holy ****, Porzingis is huge.

I agree he has huge potential but hesa big risk and he's going in to a pretty toxic environment poor guy just got booed by his own fans before ever putting on a jersey

Magic take Hezonja. Could work out nicely,

Kings have to go mudiay right who would have thought he would be there at 6

    Love that Magic pick

Thats a strong looking Magic starting 5 now. Pick makes a lot of sense.

Kings go C. Cousins trade talk will go back into overdrive.

Did not expect WCS to go that early.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 28,710 ✭✭✭✭Paully D

Oh for **** sake, now ESPN are showing tweets on their broadcast from their own reporters breaking the picks before Silver has announced them.

They had Mudiay being picked and Lawson going on the trade block with 4 minutes left on the clock.

    Pricks.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,908 ✭✭✭Morrison J

    Ty Lawson getting dealt so.

Good fit for the Rockets if they could make it happen.

Yeah it's crazy IMO. All he is, is a defender (albeit an excellent one).

Presuming they keep Cousins, I don't see how they're going to work. If they do trade Cousins, it's bizarre that they didn't take the #2 from the Lakers as part of the package to just take Towns or Okafor because Cauley-Stein as a straight up replacement is horrific.

Either way, I hate the pick.

Wow. The Pacers are going to get a good player at 11. Winslow continues to drop.
