More than anything else, I think Xenoblade X may be what finally tips me over the edge to get a Wii.

There's Tom Nook. The money-grabbing prick.

Ah Yokai Watch. It's bigger than Pokemon in Japan at the moment. I'm sure there'll be a media blitz for it over here with a cartoon show brought over.

    Yo-Kai Watch = Ghostémon

This at least 2.5x more japanesey than last year.....

Yoshis Wolly World is all well and good but it's out pretty soon like

Woolly World proves you don't need horsepower to have the best looking game of E3.

  • Registered Users Posts: 30,123 ✭✭✭✭Star Lord

Mario & Luigi crossed with Paper Mario... INSTABUY...

  • Moderators, Category Moderators, Computer Games Moderators Posts: 51,218 CMod ✭✭✭✭Retr0gamer

Now that's a surprise in Paper Mario, having all the paper mario protagonists including a very dated looking CG mario :)

All Nitendo's best stuff looks like being on the 3DS again.

  • Registered Users Posts: 10,870 ✭✭✭✭Generic Dreadhead

I'd love a proper turn based Paper Mario game, guess it's not to be. Was never mad into the Mario and Luigi co-op copy-cat stuff

I'm not sure if it's even the best looking yarn based game at E3! :P

Well seeing all this stuff dragged up from the archives is amazing. Probably the first time they've been shown outside of Nintendo. Fascinating.

That's been the highlight so far for me.

Explaining the logic of the original Mario? Brilliant!

Level Design 101 by Miyamoto. Wish modern developers would pick up on this instead of the obnoxious tutorials we have today.

Was just thinking that Yoshi's Yarn looked a lot better before I saw Unravel.

Soooooooo all they have that 99% of the western world could care for is:

    Yoshis Wolly World
    Starfox
    Mario Maker
    Fire Emblem
    Xeno-Blade
    3DS Metriod
    3DS Papery-Marioy-Type-Thingy
    Some Zelda re-hashing

Whatever way you slice that, it ain't a great show for the every-day Joe Soap, be surprised if 99% of people play 3 of them, never mind buy more than say 2 (Starfox, Mario, Yoshi)

  • Registered Users Posts: 11,505 ✭✭✭✭Xenji

Well just like last year, that was my favourite E3 presentation, I literally will be buying all but two of the games they showed.

Only interested in Starfox and even then I'd have preferred if it wasn't dual screen but we'll see how it turns out.

Edit: Mario Maker for sure also
