... an alien object to be on collision trajectory to our home planet and somehow, the humans to don't observe it or to don't report it !?
I'm just thinking of the meteor off Russian air space few months ago...hard to see or to report !?

Taken information from here (boards link ) and from here (external link)...who is to be believed ?

Lets start a scientific discussion and not be drawn in to hard to prove evidence or conspiracies.

    Thanks.

If by "alien object" you mean a rock of some sort, then yes it is possible, but also unlikely.

The risk is real enough that action ought to be taken to identify and catalogue such objects. Indeed, such efforts have been undertaken in the past and more are planned or ongoing, such as the Sentinel.

The question then becomes, what do you do if you spot a rock a kilometre wide heading for Earth? Right now, there's nothing that could be built and launched in time to deal with it, and governments tend to be too short-sighted to fund a defence against a hypothetical threat.
