Why is it when I walk around town on Friday or Saturday night business choose this time to leave their bins out?

Does it not make the city look disgraceful? And especially to tourists?

Is there not a better solution to where to put the bins and where?

They're not bins OP, they're holiday homes for the wee folk when they visit the big smoke at the weekends :P ;):D

There is, at least meant to be, an evening collection around 7pm-9pm and then a late collection at around 3am-5am so if you're heading out around 8pm then you're probably seeing all the day businesses rubbish that has not been collected yet. Can't see any way of making it better you could have a large communal bin for businesses in an area but transporting the rubbish there may not be possible for all businesses. More collections maybe but then that would presumably bring in the collection cost us due to the companies needing more staff for more rounds.
