[strava] Your KOM map!

Comments

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,520 ✭✭✭Alek

Fun fact: you can view other athletes' KOMs too. This particular one has overloaded the system I guess, showing only 1000:

    1. Paste 8492 into View Another Athlete by ID
    2. Click View
    3. Wait

    :eek::eek::eek:

    Sweet, I've got 3 ...2 more than I thought :-P

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,520 ✭✭✭Alek

I got 2 more than I thought on segments generated after my rides.

You can refresh your rides to show them by clicking on the spanner icon in the ride view > Refresh Activity Achievements

    also another one:

The roster is a bit depressing.

My number one hit is some one I've met once on a charity ride last year! I need some friends

Insomniac cycling club might help? :)

I qualify as a lone wolf, might inspire me to a new jersey ...

Can only see it increasing the likelihood of cycling solo :D

I'm also a Lone Wolf!

Matched with 122 others (12%) and solo (88%).

EDIT: It's just occurred to me that it's only those using Strava - a lot of the lads I cycle with don't use Strava and have no interest in recording rides.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,520 ✭✭✭Alek

    My lonewolfness rates at 14/86%.
a lot of the lads I cycle [...] have no interest in recording rides.

Fair play to them! As a GPS log addict I would rather sit at home than go for a longer ride without a proof ;)

True, unless you've recorded it you actually haven't done anything for those past 6 hours :pac:

    Not leading any segments :(

I'm also a Lone Wolf! Go figure...everyone I cycle with is on Strava..the only time I cycle on my own is when I'm commuting, yet I'm a "Lone wolf"?? nah...something not right there..

  • Moderators, Science, Health & Environment Moderators Posts: 23,233 Mod ✭✭✭✭godtabh

I do 89% of my rides alone. Thought that was on the low side!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,338 ✭✭✭Lusk_Doyle

19 KOMs and 7 running CRs.

    55% lone and 45% not.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 469 ✭✭JBokeh

It may as well have said

    "nothing to see here"

    :pac:

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,494 ✭✭✭Seweryn

My statistics are even worse with 96% alone (I actually thought it will be closer to 99%). With well over 600 hours in the saddle per year, that is a lot of time alone...

The more I look at it, the more I agree with you. There are several people on my list that I don't ever recall cycling with.

BTW - you are 18th on my list. Strava claims we've spent 8.9 hours together. I thought it would be a bit more. (Mr JW is in at no. 1 with 2.9 days!)

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,684 ✭✭✭triggermortis

hmmm.. 3 KOM - which was more than I thought, and 97% alone!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,874 ✭✭✭Zyzz

    94 KOM's, 94% alone :(

I'm a lone wolf too, but you're my top training partner. Apparently we've spent 2.1 days together ;)

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 543 ✭✭✭Crocked

I have one and have taken screenshots of it before it's inevitably taken off me, I'm unlikely to ever get another one

But yet you don't remember. Take that 07Lapierre!

I got my first KOM today but this says I don't have any :'( When I click on the segment though it still lists me as first.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,149 ✭✭✭G1032

    5 KOMs and 83% alone!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,522 ✭✭✭martyc5674

4 KOMs and 97% alone here!

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 512 ✭✭✭inc21

    35 KOMs and 75% alone

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,373 ✭✭✭iwillhtfu

5 KOMS and 71% alone I'll take that.

1.1 days spent with training partner.

All for sprints of descending so I guess technically not KOMS :)

Wow! Get out of the bed on the wrong side today? The lad provided a link to all Strava terminology and you give him a sarky reply. Nice. Bet everyone loves you at work.

    Hmmmmmmmm......

Is there a KOM for Lone Wolf :D

    98% Alone = 567 hours
    2% Others = 13 hours

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,526 ✭✭✭✭Darkglasses

    94% alone = 13 days
    6% others = 21 hours

It's actually a lot closer, but my friend only turns on Strava about 10% of the time.

Two KOMs left :o used to be many more!

30 KOMs, most of which I didn't know about. 59% on my lonesome.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,116 ✭✭✭buffalo

62 KOMs, including one on the M6 (which I rode before it was classified as a motorway). No idea who created it!

43% with others, 57% alone. My 4th training partner is a guy I've only ever raced against.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,569 ✭✭✭harringtonp

45% alone and 36 KOMs though none of the ones I'd like to have

    80% alone :(
25 days on my own, 5 days with other.

Only 4 KOM, I am too fat for hills! :D
