Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Commuting options for both Dublin and Belfast

    Hi All,

Just wanted to get peoples views/recommendations on myself and my Girlfriends scenario. I am currently working and living in Dublin and she is working and living in Belfast(she recently moved up from Dublin when offered a job).

We wanted to try and move to a place where we could live together while been able to commute to both Dublin and Belfast.

The only place which seems possible is Dundalk as it seems half way but there doesnt seem to be any direct way to commute from Dundalk to Belfast using public transport.
Commuting from Dundalk to Dublin doesnt seem to be a problem apart from the time it takes!
Does anyone have any experience with this or does anyone do any lift sharing/car pooling to Belfast or any direct way to commute from Dundalk to Belfast using public transport and make it into Belfast before 9:00 am.The First train arrives past 10:00am which is to late.
Thanks in advance for any comments.

    This came up before.

Thee are no public transport options that would get to Belfast before 9am from Dundalk.

The first location that this is possible from is Newry with bus and train options.

Newry also has an early commuter train to Dublin.
