A centre half should score a chance like that. For a striker to miss is unforgivable. I suppose he's just on the pitch though. Has to get a few touches to get into the game.

I would be one of the people who think Benteke is overated. He isnt world class and is no better than Giroud. You go for the elite level strikers. The Aguero/Suarez type. If you are a big club with tons of money, which Arsenal are, you go spend your 80 million and get that type of striker and go on to win everything. Benteke certainly isnt that. He's good, but not good enough to win things with.

I understand that of course, but rather than signing nobody I felt Benteke would have been a good signing.

Whilst I'm far from inpressed with Theo today, he will always get more chances than Giroud so can afford to miss more.

Speaking of deliveries, not 100% sure but I think 15 corners todays? Maybe 1 good delivery and at least 4 of them turned into Stoke counters.
