Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Can't really in case it goes to ET.

Or is it a replay first?

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,678 ✭✭✭Marcus Antonius

Giroud not doing much up front.
    Time for Wally.

Walcott and Alexis for Giroud and Campbell would do me. Ozil for Flamini or Arteta maybe as well.

Carling Cup doesn't have replays so yea goes straight to ET. ET will be even harder if we're a man down though. 3 on yellows, 2 of which are playing poorly anyhow

Extra time and penalties replays are only in the FA cup

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 16,382 ✭✭✭✭greendom

    Brilliant from Gibbs

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,012 ✭✭✭✭Alfred Borden

    arteta looks poor again

  • Registered Users Posts: 8,984 ✭✭✭Soups123

We're starting to get steamrolled now

On some of the fringe players so far...

Joel Campbell is working his ass off chasing everything down and I've been impressed with his work rate so far.
Flamini has been ok, but he's really got very slow. Much slower than he was. Great "strikers" goal in fairness to him!
Ospina has been good, apart from the goal, poor comms between him and Calum.
    Calum, likewise.
    Debuchey hass been ok.
The Ox has been poor IMO.

Like to see Sanchez get a run and hopefully break his early season form against this poor team!

He couldn't play any worse than last week, Debuchy too............ oh wait

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 29,109 ✭✭✭✭Quazzie

Here comes to Alexis. Hard to fathom how he can give much to the game if he isn't scoring the winner. He's not gonna grab the game by the throat which is what we need now.

Ramsey has his chance in his preferred role tonight.

    Been terrible.

He's chasing down the ball every time he loses it....

Ramsey doesn't exist anymore in an Arsenal jersey, he's offering nothing these days

He is playing as a #10. His best position is as a #8 (box to box player).

Another corner straight across the box with no connection. Then it goes straight down the other end where we in turn concede a corner.

Do we do nothing in training?

Alexis coming on has given them a lift. Some go-forward now, at least.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 29,109 ✭✭✭✭Quazzie

Would've been a bit harsh perhaps but a definite call for a peno there.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,483 ✭✭✭brianregan09

Lads this Spurs team are soooo bad, We really need to put them to the sword before our dodgy backline hands them another goal

  • Registered Users Posts: 4,692 ✭✭✭emmetlego

    OMG!!!

  • Registered Users Posts: 4,692 ✭✭✭emmetlego

Ladies and Gentlemen, I present to you, the genius, Mr Arsene Wenger.... He has turned the Flamster into a WC striker :-)

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,678 ✭✭✭Marcus Antonius

Wow! Just wow. What a cracking goal! So who's up for Flamini up front against Leicster this weekend? ;)

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,608 ✭✭✭cathalio11

**** it. 2 goals; both of great attacking instinct.

Put him in instead of Ozil at the weekend and see if he can net another :D
