Wenger out is not a knee jerk reaction. It's been the same old shyte for years. Thanks Wenger but it's time to leave.

We have gone backwards quite badly since last year. I am actually getting very worried about the game at the weekend.

It is obvious to me that we need to freshen things up at this stage and that needs to happen from the manager position. Wengers time at Arsenal is at an end. Hopefully he realises this and resigns rather then him being turfed out by the board. This kind of mediocrity has to end.

He seems to have aged decades in the last few years. It's the same tactics all the time. The players obviously just don't respect him anymore, or he can't motivate them or possibly both.

The potentially farcical outcome to all this is that due to Arsenals results (along with the other English teams at the minute) england may lose it's 4th CL spot so the old joke of giving up the CL to focus on fourth place and qualification won't be possible.

I've been 'Wenger Out' for a long time, but it's really is turning into dislike. He should respect the club and fcuk off

We're not getting 4-6points from the Munich games. We're out.

There was nobody out there to improve us.

We were always much more likely to regress then see any progress one of the seasons. Now is the time.

There's one good thing about this match, Walcott and Sanchez look like a good strike team, and it'll increase their confidence.

Defence is a shambles though, and that's Wengers fault. You can talk about players not turning up, but it's still a comical joke of a game.
Defence has been a shambles for neatly a decade, that's on him.

Knowing Arsenal they'll still find a way to scrape through the group.

That's one of the worst defeats in my eyes. We're staring down a barrel and the fat lady is very much singing.

We beat Zagreb and Olympicos and were ok no?

Can't wait to here Wengers rubbish spin on things now. Man United fans must be loving this. Possibly the most frustrated i've ever been as an Arsenal fan

Absolute disgraceful performance from Arsenal. Players should hang their heads in shame. Wenger really is destroying his legacy at this stage by staying on as manager with performances like this.

Well done to Olympiakos they wanted it more.

Loads of great excuses coming up. Referee being the main one is my pick.

    But he won't.
This club is about money and profits for a long time now and as long as people are paying the big prices he'll stay. He's a money man for a long time and that's what the owners want.

I said a couple of years ago that if the board were stopping him from doing better then if he cared about the club and fans at all he should have walked away and shouted it from the rooftops. It's all on him, simple as.

NAME THE PLAYERS WE COULD HAVE BOUGHT, THERE WAS NOBODY AVAILABLE...

    Etc.

Insert your own excuse here Wenger lovers.

Wenger just has to go. Naive naive naive. No inspiration. Truly awful.

I do have a feeling this game will have a huge effect on Wenger ozil Sanchez.

Could be the start of huge changes at the club.

    I agree I see 3 huge problems;

    The manager
    The board
And the fans that accept this ****

He's never been put under pressure to get out. The rot goes from top to bottom as does the snobbery

  • Registered Users Posts: 8,711 ✭✭✭keano_afc

It's beyond embarrassing. I can't think of a worse defeat in the competition.

    He needs to go.

Wenger has done a great job bringing us stability. Can anyone seriously say we are more likely to progress (win the league) with him over regressing (coming fifth or lower)?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,205 ✭✭✭Gringo180

Lowest ive ever been as a Gooner. Its just sad at this stage. Where do we go from here lads? Where is the Arsenal of old??

I fear the day the likes of Sanchez wakes up and realises he's no future at
    Arsenal.

We *are* regressing. This was our worst CL start ever.

I actually couldn't give a shyte about the UCL as we are never strong enough to win it. Have always said that.

I want to win the EPL.
But having watched our performances in the UCL I doubt we have the heart and fight needed to win the EPL.

We need a no-nonsense manager to win any of the big competitions. Domestic cups seem to satisfy Wenger.

We were nailed on to finish at least second following the draw. 12 points from Olympiacos and Zagreb should of been a given. It's so pathetic. It'll be the first time we haven't progressed from the group stages in forever

There is no point in qualifying for the CL is we aren't going to invest and try and win the feckin thing!

Was looking forward to some more career mode with Arsenal tonight in FIFA16. Might just delete my save now :pac:

If Bayern decide to go full throttle against us then we are in for a serious sideways riding

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,798 ✭✭✭speedboatchase

Watching Wenger's Arsenal in 2015 is a bit like watching new episodes of The Simpsons. It still conjures up some fond memories but you wish it had ended a long, long time ago.

They won't have to try too hard, based on the performance of the last two games
