    On the Google maps iOs app - Is there a way to share a location in Google maps - not my current location but a dropped pin ... cant seem to find
    a share option - very annoying indeed .

    Pull up the bottom panel and there’s a share button.

    drop pin, then where it says "Dropped pin near x..." at the bottom half of the screen, swipe this up there's a save and share the location using iOS' built in share sheet.

    Google's Material-esque design is confusing, especially in an iOS context.
