Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

im wondering is it possible to cancel a working holiday visa to australia with a refund or even postpone it to a later date?

i currently have a visa which will expire in june 2016 but some personal circumstances may prevent me to travel

if i cancel, will i be permitted to get another visa at a later date or is this out of the question?
    any help appreciated

If you don't enter Australia before the end of it validly then it's deemed you have never used it, you should get one in the future if you reapply and as long as you still qualify ie. still under 31. You can't postpone as such just reaaaply for a new one.

    No chance of a refund.

You can let it expire on its own, there's no need or benefit to canceling it. You will be able to reapply in the future for a new one.

You can't get a refund though.

If that date correct? Meaning the visa was only granted in the last two weeks or so?

As long as you dont enter australia then it will just expire unused. You can then reapply at a later date (provided you still qualify). You wont get refunded and you'll have to pay again when you reapply but you cant really argue that.
