Ive always wanted to travel and see the. world..ive decided to see south america but im traveling alone..ill be backpacking ive neva been on a backpacking adventure..what are the pros and cons has anyone ever been to south america is it as dangerous as thy say..im looking at staying in hostels as i travel around..i surpose…

No, I didn't find it dangerous. I've been twice as a solo female backpackers. As long as you stay in hostels in the main places you'll meet loads of travellers. Look for places with a common room and a TV if you're looking to meet others.
