Hi, I recently applied for a mortgage with BoI. I applied for an amount based on an address (not a house hunter mortgage) and am still waiting to hear back. However, the house I was planning on buying is being sold by a bank and they've just let me know that they now want €17k more! If I get approval on original amount, will it be hard to up the amount? Also, if I decide against going with this house, is it possible to change mortgage approval to a house hunter approval?! Thanks! :)
