    bicycle :D

More seriously think you might need to continue on luas to city centre & get dublin bus out to bewleys which might be tight in that time frame.

Pre-book with a taxi company or an ehail app like Hailo?

Put your exact locations (crèche and work) and relevant dates and times into www.a-b.ie and tweak the settings. Make sure you have selected "take neighbouring stops into account for origin and destination maximum XX min walk".

Luas from Red Cow to Abbey Street, walk to St. Stephens Green and then Luas to Central Park would be an idea. It should take about 1h10. If using Leap Card, make sure to tag-off at Abbey Street and on at St. Stephens Green - it still counts as one Luas trip.

Bus-wise, you could get the 13 and the 11. Get off at College Green and walk to Nassau Street.

Or you could have gotten up 2 hours earlier, gotten a bus into the city centre and a bus outta the city centre for, say, €6.

Personally, I'd pay the taxi fare to get an extra 2 hours in bed on a Saturday morning :D

And at an awful hour on a Saturday morning.

Did a quick check on World taxi meter and a similar trip from Heathrow to Chiswick (16km mostly motorway) would cost €55 (£40).

I'll give you the benefit of the doubt and assume you're just grumpy because you had to get up that early on a Saturday morning :)

Edit: And about €27 in Barcelona.
