Aren't Malted Wheats the equiv of Shreddies?
    Shredded wheat is something different.

Buying the Malted Wheaties for at least a year and a half.
    They're 1.29 in my aldi.

In my local Tesco they're 4.50.

No difference in taste to me.

Have had them forever. They are perfectly grand at half the price of branded ones.

I've seen the Shreddies rip offs (Malted Wheaties) for a long time but the Shredded Wheats are brand new. I was wondering if they'd been around for a while but my branch just hadn't had them so I asked in the shop last night and apparently they're brand new.

I'm definitely buying them for at least the last year if not 18 months.

Possibly aldi might have rebranded them or had supplier issues.

For about two weeks they weren't available, about october time I think.
I have a stock of them, but I know this because a friend couldn't get them in her branch so I checked my branch also unavailable there.

Apologies I totally misread your post.

Picked up a pack of 2 Medallion Steaks for 4e (so only 2e per steak) and did this recipe for dinner, they were delicious.......as good as a fillet.

Had rest of ingredients already from a previous Aldi shop

There's less calories in a bounty bar and that counts as fruit by your reasoning, yes?

Sweet potatoes are a "superfood" .. You could live off them and little else.

Great that kids like them. I simply cook them eg slow cooker, peel and mash, maybe with cheese atop, or gravy .. easy to digest too.

Tried the snack pot fruits at the till in Aldi yesterday. I had the yellow tub with dried raspberries, raisins, mango and coconut. Really, really nice... 99c so not the cheapest snack in the world (compared to a piece of fruit like a banana or apple) as they aren't huge but possibly better for you than a chocolate bar (but I wouldn't swear to it looking at the calorie content!)

Very nice, probably similar calories to a chocolate bar but healthier, I like to have a tub or two in the car in case I get peckish ...keeps off the craving for chocolate or other crap..
