Ooh that's good to know I bought one first time round and it smelled just like the JM Pomegranate Noir, will try the Lime Basil next (ps I'm a regular purchaser of JM candles)

But these don't burn like jo malone candles. They burn out much quicker IMO

Do the Jo Malone candles last 10x as long to justify being 10x the cost? I don't value candles enough to spend €50, so for me they're good enough and worth a try IMO.

Lovely range of Easter goodies, including the 5 Cadbury Creme Eggs for E2.49

But sad to see they no longer stock real Nescafe and Nescafe Gold, just the lookalike stuff..

Not sure who Jo Malone is but the fancy candles "No.1 & No.3" are in the dishwasher tablets kinda section in my Aldi, nowhere near the special buys.

    I'd estimate 60 - 80 hours burn for a fiver

    Completely sold out in Cork!:(

    Missed the boat again.

Benefit Lighter Granola with the strawberry and blueberry pieces is nice. Less sugar per 100g than some of the other granolas I tried too.

Did you ask for them or was there an empty space with labels for them?

Just realised that possibly for the first time I've had a 100% Aldi dinner.....

    Frozen SS Angus burger
    Gourmet burger bun
    Aldi mayonnaise
    Aldi red pepper relish
    Aldi onion
    Aldi red cheddar
    Aldi SS oven chips

Twas a gorgeous, if not exactly the healthest ever, dinner. Yum yum yum.

I'm too lazy to actually do it, but I'd love to know how much it cost!

(and for the record, those gourmet burger buns beat the brioche ones hands down!)

Probably too late to mention it, but if you like fizzy orange without much sugar, get hold of Aldi's "Vive Diet Orange" - it's the best sugar-free orange I've ever tried. Unfortunately they seem to be replacing it with "Vive Zero Orange" which does not taste nearly as nice :(

Never liked that diet orange, but their normal fizzy orange is much better than Club or Fanta

They ruined the lemon and lime drink aswell, it tastes like sparkling water and sugar now, no kick to it at all.

In Aldi for the first time in a couple of weeks and I see that they now do 500ml milk, I live in my own so I am delighted with this.

Not in Also but in Life. They have the best Greek style yogurt. Milbona is the brand. It's way nicer than the glenisk yoghurt.

Ah Autocorrect. :) Did you mean not in Aldi but in Lidl?

There's also a Lidl thread fyi.

No sign of Wholemeal flour at the 2 Aldis I shop at.
Is it gone from other stores too?

    I should really ask.
Need to put my baking on hold for now! :p

They've done it for quiet some time now, but only in a small quantity so can be hit and miss if you can get it. I live on my own so I love it too.

Yes that is what I meant. Fair play trying to make sense of it.

The little jars of chargrilled peppers from their antipasto range are great for throwing into chilli etc.

Can't remember the cost, but they're delicious.
