    hello everybody,

I am taking up a new job in Dublin around Stephens green and am looking for a place to stay ,have been on daft but it can be quite confusing and I was hoping that the local around in the forum could help me out.

I'm looking for a shared accommodation or rented one(which probably is out of my range),am willing to spend up to 550 /month including bills ,can commute by bus ,Luas, dart with say a 30 min journey, can walk for about 30 /45 mins, need parking oh and no shared bedrooms also.

All suggestions on where to look in daft would be welcome

    Thanks in advance

Hi, I work just below stephens green down on adeliade road. Pm me some details as I get the bus in and out takes 25-30 minutes often cycle takes 15 but there is a room possible becoming vacant in the next week or 2. If you fit the house I can talk to the landlord and see what I can do. Its very difficult to get a house

I'd suggest keep going North on the DART line until you get something in budget. You'd get a nice room in Raheny for that budget. If you come further out to Kilbarrack you'll find rooms even cheaper than that. I think I'll be renting a room in sept/oct in a very nice house a minute from the DART in Kilbarrack for about €80 a week inc Full Sky pack in the room, 240Mbit internet and all bills to give you an idea.

If you're willing to deal with the bus trundling along you can go with Blanchardstown.

The issue you'll have in the CC is there aren't units as many units with larger numbers of bedrooms so you're struggle at 550, that said there are some rooms going for that.

Best of luck with the move!

Thread closed as identical thread in Dublin City. OP it is against the rules to post identical posts on multiple fora, please don't do it again.
