I have just been speaking to a customer service representative regarding a problem with using credit card to pay for a rental car in Italy in August.  He assured me he had reset the card and it would work when I went to make the purchase.  However it is still not working and I have now tried a different car hire provider in Italy and it still is not working, please advise as soon as possible or car hire prices will go up

    Hi nickrees,

Thank you for getting in contact with us and welcome to Boards.ie.

We are sorry to hear that you are experiencing difficulty purchasing online. Once your 3D Secure password is unlocked you should be able to continue your purchase. When you are purchasing online again and are prompted with the 3D Secure screen, you would need to select the option for 'Forgot Password' and then answer the security questions. This will then allow you to create a new password and complete your purchase.

If you have attempted this already and are still unable to use your card online, we would suggest that you contact our customer service team on 0818 251 251. Our representatives would have account access and can check your account to help eliminate any unforeseen problems.

Just to mention, if you are registered for 365Online, you can also send a secure email via the Online Service desk to this team.

We hope this helps and if we can assist you with anything else here, please don't hesitate to contact us again.

    Thanks,
    Elaine
