Clare Island Ferry

Does anybody know what the story is with bringing dogs on the Ferry to Clare island or Inisturk / Inisboffin? Going to Connemara this year on hols with our dog and would like to visit the islands.

Dogs are permitted on the Inishboffin ferry, they have to be on a lead and kept outside on the deck.

No mention of dogs on the Clare Island ferry website, give them a ring tomorrow ..
