Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Bolasie with another goal and assist.

Should be back in more than enough time to have recovered and play at the weekend.

Germany-Holland called off due to security threat

England XI vs. France: Hart; Clyne, Stones, Cahill, Gibbs; Dier, Alli, Barkley; Sterling, Kane, Rooney.

England XI vs. France: Hart; Clyne, Stones, Cahill, Gibbs; Dier, Alli, Barkley; Sterling, Kane, Rooney.
France XI vs. England: Lloris; Digne, Varane, Koscielny, Sagna; Schneiderlin, Cabaye, Matuidi; Ben Arfa, Martial, Gignac

6 FPL Frenchies in the team and as expected Lassana Diarra (who lost his cousin in the Bataclan) & Antoine Griezmann whose sister survived the Bataclan are on the bench.

I'd not like to go over-emotional about tonight's game but this picture is quite impressive and moving. Seeing the French motto and colours on the English football "temple" is really something. That's a real strong symbol.

If you feel like singing La Marseillaise tonight, here's a pronunciation help for you :p

HT in Wembley. 1-0 England. Alli (Rooney).

I may keep a closer eye on this young Alli fella. What a strike for his goal! If he really becomes a Spurs midfield regular he'd be a steal at his price!

Bentaleb went off injured for Algeria too.

I need to point out here that Alli has started the last 9 league games for Spurs, isn't he already a regular???

Have to admit I didn't follow him enough. Good to know though.

    --

2-0. Rooney (Sterling). Alli got the ball in Pogba's feet and made a great through ball to Sterling. The Spurs' kid is having a blinder!

    He will if he's fit.

    England-France 2-0 FT.

Butland (who replaced Hart at HT - a planned move) made a great 1 on 1 save vs Martial (who had played a brilliant one-two with Pogba). He's on tremendous form!

    Alli was MOM.

This game was a lot more than just a football game tonight. Our English neighbours made it an exceptionally great event. I'll always remember La Marseillaise sang by the whole Wembley stadium. I won't forget the minute of silence every single person in the stadium respected. And the standing ovation for Lassana Diarra's sub appearance was such a great gesture.

I'll just end quoting the 2 captains who nailed it.

"First of all we want to thank all the England people in the stadium for their respect. The performance was not there for us and we had a lack of aggressiveness and concentration. It was more about solidarity. Life is still going on so we need to carry on."
    Hugo Lloris

"It was always going to be a difficult night for everyone, especially the French players and staff. For ourselves to be involved in this occasion was tough, the young players were excited but it was a difficult game for them. I thought both teams handled it extremely well. The fans were brilliant. This will be shown round the world and will show unity. Football is a global game and, as Didier Deschamps said yesterday, it is not about relegation or race. We need to stand tall and stand together in these tough times."
    Wayne Rooney

Now let's the people in charge deal with these "war" issues and for us to fully focus back on our fantasy addiction :). Again, that's the best answer we could give to the people who threaten(ed) our way of life.

One thing i'd say about Alli is that, from what i've seen, he has a bit of a nasty streak in him. One yellow away from a one game ban as stands. Definitely tempting at the price point and with his eye for goal, but a definite card magnet too.

Begovic; Azpilicueta, Cahill, Terry (c), Baba Rahman; Fabregas, Matic; Willian, Oscar, Hazard; Diego Costa

subs: Blackman, Ivanovic, Zouma, Mikel, Loftus-Cheek, Pedro, Remy

Zouma and Ivan getting a night off???

Cech, Bellerin, Koscielny, Mertesacker, Monreal, Flamini, Cazorla, Campbell, Ozil, Alexis, Giroud

    Ramsey on the bench

Blanks the first couple of games, gets 10 goals in 6 games, then blanks a load more. Streak player, perhaps? Being an Arsenal fan, I was hoping he's rest so he could save his energy and prevent yet another injury for Arsenal. Hopefully he'll be taken off soon.

Ozil is looking like a real FPL option, he'll obviously get assists but he's looking like scoring goals too.

I see it more as building momentum for a decent haul at the weekend - great for him to get back on the scoresheet.
