Moving to Mayo

Hi folks,

I'll be moving with my family up to Mayo over the Summer. We're hoping to base ourselves around the Swinford area. I have checked Daft.ie for family homes for rent but there doesn't seem to be much available.

Is Daft the best place to check for rental properties? Or is there some local paper that might be better?

It doesn't have much but you wouldn't get a lot of free property out around Swinford.

Local post office and village store is a good place to try. There are some cards in my local village with places to rent. Put the word out if you have contacts locally.... that sometimes produces what you are after.

Check out http://www.mellettproperty.ie/ maybe give them a call for the most recent properties for rent in Swinford.

You're very welcome to Swinford. Its the best town in the country!
