Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi guys.
Last year I was living out near GMIT and it was €260 a month. A bargain it seemed but the place was a kip and as old as the hills and nothing would heat the place but was cheap.

This coming September I'm planning on going to NUIG and currently have plans to live with friends of friends in woodquay.

Now my question is, is it good value or will I be paying too much? It's €375 a month, excl. bills and water etc. deposit is €375. It's close to everything I think and apparently it has a stove and is always warm due to it being a terraced house (meeting the landlord there next week) it's a 10 month lease and I plan on working whilst studying to pay for it. Should I keep looking or is it good value for money? Thanks

Without seeing the inside its difficult to tell but its within reason anyway. 350-400ish would be about right for a nice place (nice but not top of the range)

375 might be a bit high for student accommodation (many people in one house) but really it depends on what you think yourself. If you want it and can afford it, go ahead.
Compare to similar places on daft.
I've also moved this to NUIG forum for the students to give feedback on the value.
