Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Booking extended stop over on way home from Australia

Hi Folks. Flying to Sydney in December. No flights booked yet. We return in the new year & want an extended stop over (7 days) in Thailand.

What's the best way to go about booking flights for this type of trip?

Should I book the flights individually or try to do it all as part of a round trip?

Any recommendations as to who / where to book it?

    Any advice appreciated.

Skyscanner have a multi city option so maybe try there first

Trailfinders is probably half the price of skyscanner

I'm actually with Krusty on this one. Travel agents will usually be able to be stopovers for less than multi city booking. Definitely shop around and make friends with your local travel agent. If they think they will also get hotel bookings in Thailand/Australia they will likely give you a better deal as they have more margin to play with.
