Dell XPS 8700. Messing with sound settings - Realtek hi-definition audio speakers. Now no sound on UTube or Skype. Sound on most everything else. Changed every setting every which way but no result. Help please.

Have you sound on other websites?

Can you post up a screenshot of your mixer settings

Have sound on UTube on Internet Explorer but not on Chrome. Video on Picasa on Chrome no sound but has sound on Internet Explorer . Sound OK on Spotify.

Okay, well that seems to narrow it down to an issue with Chrome. Might be a setting in the browser related to sound. Not on laptop now so can't check myself.

Try the volume mixer and see if Chrome is muted. Other than that, have a peak at this video. Best of luck :)

Thanks - tried that didn't work, but I reckon it has got to be Flash Player alright. How I go about remedying it still has me puggled.
