Renting rooms in Greystones

    Hi everyone

    My girlfriend is looking to purchase a house in the Greystones area and to help fund it she would be availing of the rent a room scheme.

    She is considering the following areas, Delgany wood, Redford Park, Applewood heights, but obviously not limited to just there

    So my questions are
    1) what is the rental market like in those areas? Looking on daft there doesn't seem to be a huge amount of rooms in houses to rent, I assume she would be able to rent rooms out ok??
    2) what kind of rent could she expect to get for a double room with all bills included? I was thinking in the 550 mark (for a decent sized room)
