    Anyone do this course the internatinal one? any feedback?

    I'm in 2nd year of this course. We're the first batch to do the course.
    It's pretty awesome, It's a lot similar to DT228 which is Computer Science but the unique part about it is they want you to think about how you design your software that fits locally or internationally and also you have to take a Language, (Chinese or German)
    You have shared lectures with Computer Science students but you also have lectures just specific to DT282, which is great because we are a smaller group and we get along well.

    DIT has links to different universities around the world so you can pick and choose where you want to go in your 3rd year second semester. You don't have to go to China or Germany in your second semester.

    Hey just wondering if anyone who's doing this course now knows where abouts you go in China in 3rd year and is there a work placement like in DT228 or is the semester abroad the substitute for the work placement. Also do you miss out on any big subjects/modules that DT228 learn? Thanks.

    Hi, The students taking Chinese language are going to Beihang University in Beijing @ their second semester in 3rd year. As far as ive heard its one of the top universities in China and the campus is huge and yes Semester abroad is a replacement for Work Placement.
