Transition Work Work Experience One Day A Week

Hi I will be going into transition year this year and must secure two work placement blocks. However unlike many schools we do it every Friday for about ten or eleven weeks instead of in week blocks. This has made it difficult to be accepted by anyone as they all say 'Unfortunately we do not offer work experience for one day a week. We do however offer a block week of work experience if that’s something you are interested in.' I was wondering if anyone has any ideas of where is likely to accept students for one day a week. All suggestions are welcome. I am would be interested in anything to do with computers, technology, sport or medicine. I am located in Dublin West if that helps.

Thank you in advance for any replies.

With my school I am allowed take the full week as I have done with my work experience for the first one.We go on placements for Fridays too.My second placement is every Friday. With my school as well if we are doing it for the full week ask your principal. They may say yes but you will have to find work experience elsewhere for the other Fridays just like what I have to do.But my advice so if you really want the work experience take it for te week and then just go elsewhere if you have the opportunity.
