    Is this still happening to others and if so is there and cure for it.

    I had awful problems with the last update, new update is working smoothly.

    Have you many plugins/addons installed?

    Extensions, Only Fireshot, Adblock and avast on line security.

    Do Plugins matter.

    There's where your problem might be. Avast has been known to cause some hiccups with Firefox. Usually when a new update from Mozilla comes out.

    Do Plugins matter.

    Some, not all. Your best bet is to disable Avast and try browsing again to see if there is a difference. Best of luck :)
