Flashback returns due to popular demand in July for another night of vintage Old Skool with some new House music as well, an event not to be missed as anyone who has previously attended will testify.

Wayne Spelman has been a regular name on the Dublin DJ and clubbing scene first his first taste of Dublin clubs, the Ormonde Multi Media Centre in 1997. A regular clubber throughout the late 90’s and early 00’s, he frequented clubs such as the Subterrania, Tin Pan Alley, The Red Box and the one that probably had the biggest influence, the Temple Theatre. This as well as regular trips to Ibiza since 1998, opened him up to every dance music genre.

With such a wide ranging dance music education behind him, it was inevitable that he would find himself behind the decks playing the tunes, rather than our front listening to them. Trance was the chosen genre to launch his DJ’ing career. After playing his first gig in the Legal Eagle in 2005, he was quickly established as one of Dublin’s top trance DJ’s. His radio show The Quality Trance Selection was one of the biggest shows on pirate radio between 2006 and 2009 with its prime Saturday night slot of 8:00-10:00 always attracting huge listener numbers.

He has held residencies for both Filth and Revolution, where he played alongside the likes of Simon Patterson, Signum and Lost Witness. 2007 also seen him play at Ireland’s biggest Dance Music Festival, Planet Love. He has also played for of Letrik, Trance Army Ireland, Temptation, Space PR and a whole host of other Trance nights in clubs such as Tripod, The Vaults, Spirit, Radio City and more recently The Voodoo Lounge, supporting top names like Bryan Kearney, Greg Downey, Marv Van Linden W&W and Sam Jones.

For Wayne’s Flashback debut at Dalymount Park, expect a him go right back to where it all began, digging dig deep into his vinyl collection to produce a mid 90’s tunage masterclass, this will be one not to be missed!




Also making his Flashback debut is Paddy Keenan.

Paddy got his first set of decks in the 90's when he was 14 and has never looked back, some of his influences are Orbital, Underworld, The Prodigy and Dublins finest Sound Crowd.

Paddy has played in the Vaults, Radio CIity, Isaac Butts and The Voodoo Lounge and has played alongside DJ's like Mark Kavanagh, Will Atkinson, Bryan Kearney to name but a few.



Last but not least we are again delighted to have the legendary Chris D onboard again.

Chris D has been on the Dublin Rave scene since the very beginning and is one of the most underrated DJ's in Ireland.

Chris has played almost every single club in Dubin and held down a residency in the Waterfront / Columbia Mills for several years, he has played at every flashback to date and again we are truly delighted to have a DJ of such calibre as Chris play again.
