Query re : pipework bonding conductor size

    I've been asked to bond pipework in a hot press before a solar installer retrofits a solar hot water system. What size cable meets the standards I'm guessing 6mm will be minimum but looking for confirmation.

    10 square from MCB board to hot press and for any links between pipes.

    10 square in reality would not be needed to serve the function which bonding serves. But that's the requirement. At least being that size means its mechanically strong.

    Use lugs to terminate onto bonding straps. To directly connect without lugs is weak and they easily pull out from under screws.

    They need a crimper, maybe you can get a loan of one or something.
