Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    How is it injured?

I found one a few years ago but he was only tired. I brought him to the DSPCA - they had not been helpful on the phone about it but I have cats so couldnt leave him where he was.

    R.I.P

    Poor birdie didn't make it.
Had some Wounds on its breast, so mighthhave been a cat or other predator, just curious how it survived till I found her.

I found a racing pigeon on the side of the road 3 weeks ago. I tracked down its owner the next day & it turns out that it's one of this years young that strayed from home, over 70 miles away. Contacted owner twice since, he says he wants it back but is making no effort to collect it.meanwhile, it's stuck in a cage in our shed, I can't let it out because of the cats. Anyone have any idea what to do with it? I can't just set it free as it's a young bird, it won't find its way home.
