Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Hopefully your former flock follow you. Thanks again for the plug.

Just over the hundred in now, but theres a regular last minute rush. 40 entered the last Friday before deadline last year.

Only 12 or so places left in the Champions League.

I have been running a mini league for the last number of years and so far have 24 teams entered this season. Entry fee is €30, there are monthly prizes ( minimum €30) and then also overall prizes ( 20 entrants-top 2, 30 entrants -top 3, etc etc.) There is also a Champions League style competition as well ( minimum €150 winner, could be larger depending on number of entrants) with everyone getting updates via email. Prize fund is fully given back out to all the winners so I gain nothing out of it.

I would be delighted to take entries from anyone on the forum if anyone is interested. Payment options are via bank transfer or paypal. If anyone is interested you can drop me a PM.

I do not post here as often as a lot of you but I enter all the regular leagues here and contribute when I can.

Would a parcel motel address do :)

Not likely, at least a NI bank account and non P.O address. They are very specific in the T's&C's and would easily spot a P.O. box giving as winning address anyway. No point wasting a valuable league slot on one that won't pay out due to location.

It might be different if it was something like a jersey but a cash prize would not be sent to a PO box like parcel motel.

"Competitions are open to residents of Northern Ireland only. Entrants must be 18 years of age or older. Maximum one entry per customer. No purchase necessary. Toals cannot accept responsibility for entries not received. Toals reserves the right to cancel or amend the competition without notice. In certain circumstances cash alternatives, substitutions or exchanges may be offered. Competitions are not run in conjunction with Facebook or Twitter. Entry into any competition will be deemed as acceptance of these terms"

Another one here for Liverpool fans with book as prize.

I enjoy how all of us eye up some leagues we think could be there for the taking and then other obsessives join to reduce our chances :pac:. I would have walked that league by 100 points last season

    On another note.

133 confirmed entries in the Harps league. 200 is a possibility judging by the level of late entries last year. 180 would be my guess.

More importantly there are only 6 places left in the Champions League €1,000 competition. No time for hanging about....

I don't want to step on FHFC's toes but Longford town is also running a prize league this year again. I believe he had a podium finish their last year. It's €10 entry and looks to be well run.

Just pay but don't sign up until the deadline. That way he won't know the league is back up this year. I'd join myself but i'm out of league places too. The moolah H2H is a PITA but it looks like your nemesis forgot to sign up to it or maybe he doesn't realise there is a H2H too. That's what happens by just scouting someone else and then joining their league as you miss out on caveats through proper research as is happening quite a few people on here. I notice there are lots of sharks jumping on the leagues being posted here without so much as a courtesy thanks and not realising that there are terms and conditions attached that make their entries invalid. Essentially they are just wasting their limited league spots.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,747 ✭✭✭Swiper the fox

Do you think Longford mind a bunch of us joining. Ii hate going where I'm not wanted but the thoughts of the LOI premier and first division double is swaying me.
Incidentally they're possibly the only two established Loi teams whose grounds I've never been to.

It's a fundraiser for the club so they won't care. They'll only be too delighted to have an influx of boardsies. It's only a tenner so very tempting but i'd have to give up a spot i don't have to give.

It's very badly advertised though as they were running it last year and barely anyone knew. Derry City had one last year too but didn't advertise it well. They don't seem to have one this year but i'll keep an eye on them in case it pops up. I think the early PL start this year might be catching some off guard as it usually starts a week later and i notice some leagues only coming back in the last day or 2.

Good man, just waiting for FHFC to sign up and Edgbaston 5 minutes later and you should have some good competition.

Let me know how many are in the league. If it's a good number i might just withdraw from another and join this as it's always good to support the LOI.
