All they require is your credit card details nothing else. You do not need to give details of your vehicle as the policy covers all vehicles owned by you.

    Thanks glenmac!
Seems strange that they dont want the registration plate(s) of the vehicle(s) owned by you and link it/them to your name and credit card, but if thems the rules, then thems the rules.

You're covered for any vehicle you're travelling in.

Just renewed my cover with ADAC, no mention of not covering Ireland, unless its for new entrants. I ring on this number for renewal and get a very helpful english speaking person, might be worth a call 0049 941 55673

Very easy to arrange cover. Use the above number and ask to speak to an English speaking agent. She was very helpful. Cover is for all of geographical Europe (not just the EU). Same cover for all.
    · €109 for ADAC Partner Plus Membership (plus €4 extra / €113 for the first year if you don’t have a German Bank A/C. €109 thereafter).
    · Cover required name, address, date of birth, email and credit card details of the new member. Just name and date of birth of the partner.
    · Cover runs for one year and is automatically renewed the following year. To cancel, email 3 months in advance to let them know.
    · Membership and # confirmed by email. Membership card will be posted separately.

AFAIK if you call ADAC with a problem in Ireland, they send you the AA!
    indeed!

got a blow out in west cork and only had a can of poxy foam so needed to be towed to nearest tyre shop.
Relayed all the details in german to a confused lady in ADAC in Munich (no postcode? no road with a name or number? really ? Is that true?)

complete waste of time as I was rang back by AA to get all the details again!
But the man did arrive and didnt even care about whether I had the ADAC card, as once he had his order number from the AA he was getting paid!

Used them once in Holland when with a friends car, and twice in Germany and it does take time for the van to get to you, but its a good spend of 100euro if you are on the road away from home and folks that could come to your rescue.

Theres no excess or any other messing. You ring, they come, they fix, you sign and thats it.
