What kind of mix of people, young/old in between?

Five oaks is one of the nicest estates in town.

A nice mix of young families, older families and older people.

The houses could do with a bit more heat insulation, but apart from that, decent houses.

I've read on here before about issues with sound insulation in the semis. I haven't heard anything about it myself though (the ones being built now mightn't have any issues though).

overall, a very nice estate to live in.

there is a residents association fee of 70 euro a year in five oaks village

Thanks for info, has the council taken charge or is it a community charge.

It's a voluntary contribution to residents association

Have sort of settled on five oaks village to live, but very few for sale there. Would it be rude to knock on doors to ask if people would be in the market to sell soon?

You can't be serious that you'd knock on doors asking if people were selling? I don't think that's a good idea,

Is it a detached house you are looking for as Im sure you know they are building new semis at back of estate.

There's a couple of detached houses built there too, not sure if they're sold.
