no argument - just funny at how quickly their lives can completely change.

Look at Cech for example - a massive reason he want to Arsenal over any other club in the world is that he didn't want to move his family that are well settled in London

I'm not sure. Look at it this way. We will get what, 3, maybe 4 seasons out of him at a push?

Bastian is clearly a proud German / Bavarian. Munich ain't that far away. A club of Manchester Uniteds means will do everything to help him settle immediately and likely are getting things set up for him as we speak.

It's not like he is going to land in a brand new country and has to figure everything out himself.

Cech has two kids and is married. As far as I can see Basti is still free and single and childless so moving to Manchester for 3-4 years is likely no big deal.

It's rained 3 times since I moved here in March. Stats don't lie buddy.

What? It's rained 3 times this week alone. Tuesday was like a winter's day.

    Getting all protective already? :D
Schweinsteiger's fans nicknamed him "Schweini" or "Basti"

    Honestly it has.
Actually yeah you're right, it was rainy this week.

But apart from that, since April there had been like 2/3 rain showers. Talking city center here

Picture the scene in the first Utd v Pool game next season.

    Bastian
    Schweinsteiger v Joe Allen:)

It's not really funny when you put your star signing against someone who isn't in our best 11.

I'm done with my city centre living days. Way too pricey for anything half decent.

I suppose it hasn't been terrible the last while. Maybe you're the good luck charm. We'll keep you for now.

Pedro would be a good option for playing as part of a front three.

Atletico would probably want a huge fee, they paid around 13m last season and his stock has risen.
They brought Bono back from loan so maybe they would be willing to sell Oblak. They have bought a lot of players already this summer so Oblak might help balance the books.

Absolutely delighted with the signing of Darmian. I've been his biggest fan and rated him above every other RB since I first heard of him last week.

I think Di Maria stays unless we get Bale or Muller. No hope in hell of getting Muller or Pep and Rummenigge will need armed bodyguards, given they are not very popular for first getting rid of Kroos last year, and then Schweinsteiger this year.
Bale stays another year in Madrid...so ADM stays.

talk they are trying to sign the Sporting keeper, who is first choice for Portugal. Could be Oblaks replacement

    United sign Matteo Darmian

Manchester United is delighted to announce that Matteo Darmian has completed his transfer from Torino. Matteo joins on a four-year contract with the option to extend for a further year.

Darmian, 25, has made 146 appearances and scored 5 league goals for Torino since his debut in 2011. The defender has 13 international caps for Italy and was part of their World Cup squad last summer in Brazil. Matteo Darmian said:

“It is a dream come true to be joining Manchester United. I have loved the time that I have spent at Torino and I would like to thank the club and the fans for everything they have done for me. I am sure they can understand when the opportunity to join the biggest club in world came along it was something I had to do. To work with Louis van Gaal, a manager that has achieved so much in football is such an exciting prospect.”

    Louis van Gaal said:

“Matteo is a right-sided full back with the versatility of also being able to play on the left. He is a strong defender and has the ability to go forward in the attacking positions which is a fantastic attribute to have and much needed in the fast rhythm of the Premier League. Matteo will be a great addition to the team. I am delighted to welcome Matteo to the club and look forward to working with him in the coming days.”

Thought I saw something about that.Someone is leaving if they buy him.Already have 3 senior keepers.

United are building a nice squad, the quality continues to improve.

Darmian made the team of the year for Serie A in the right back position for the past two seasons.
Depay was the top scorer in the Eredivisie.and performed on the biggest stage at the world cup with two goals.
Schweinsteiger, 14 letters that explain everything.

Van Gaals head looks photoshopped there. Looks a bit too big for his shoulder width.

I don't remember a satori. Petrucci never made a first team appearance.

Satori was way back in the 60's tbf. I only remember him from years ago when I researched few countries and players who played for United.

Rossi was born in America as well if we're getting technical.
